Run a clipping campaign
Create a campaign, set the budget and the pay rate per 1,000 views, choose platforms and rules, approve or reject clips, top up or wind it down, and see where the spend comes from.
A clipping campaign is you paying for reach. You put money into a budget, set what a thousand views is worth, and clippers turn your content into short videos across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Insy tracks the views and pays the clippers out of your budget — you decide the terms and approve the work.
Create the campaign
Name, images and a link
A name, a background and avatar image for the campaign’s page, and a slug — the short unique word in its web address. Insy tells you if a slug is taken.
A category
Pick the category that fits — a straight clipping campaign, a UGC campaign, a logo campaign. It helps clippers browsing Insy find campaigns like yours.
The rules
A description of what you want, a list of rules clippers must follow, and resource links — where clippers get your source footage, brand assets, or anything else. You can note the main audience you’re after. The rules page is what clippers read before they clip, so spell out what earns an approval and what gets a rejection.
A pay rate for each platform
Set a rate per platform you want clips on — covered in its own section below.
Set the pay rate — CPM, with a floor and a ceiling
You pay by CPM: a rate per 1,000 views, in the campaign’s currency. Set one rate per platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), so you can pay differently where views are worth differently. Each rate carries two guard rails:
- A minimum payout. A clip earns nothing until it’s worth at least this much. Small clips that barely move sit at zero until they cross the floor.
- A maximum payout. The most a single clip can ever earn, no matter how viral it goes — the real cap on your exposure per clip, and the number that bounds a runaway hit.
So a clip’s worth is its views, at your CPM, with nothing below the floor and nothing above the ceiling. Clippers see the same numbers before they submit.
Fund the budget, and top it up
You put money in by topping up — a payment by card or crypto. A few things follow from that first payment:
- The first top-up sets the campaign’s currency rail for life. Pay by card and it’s a fiat (złoty/USD) campaign; fund it with crypto and it’s a USDC campaign. Every later top-up comes in on that same rail, and every clip reward leaves on it — the two never mix inside one campaign.
- There’s a minimum. The first deposit has a higher floor than later top-ups, both set in the campaign’s own currency. You can see the exact minimums on its finances screen.
- You can top up again any time to keep the campaign live.
Approve or reject the clips that come in
When a clipper submits a clip, Insy first confirms the video really exists on the platform, then it lands in your queue. Approve the ones that follow your rules and reject the ones that don’t — approved clips start earning against your budget as their views grow.
You also decide how social accounts get in. By default a clipper’s verified account is enrolled automatically. To vet who clips for you, turn on social account approval: each account then waits for your approval before its clips count. Turning approval back off auto-approves everyone waiting.
Two more controls over who takes part:
- Ban a clipper to remove them from the campaign and stop them rejoining. You can unban later.
- Every participant shows on your Clippers list with their submissions, views and earnings, alongside campaign-wide analytics for earnings, views and active clippers.
When the budget runs low
Insy steps in as the budget empties, in two stages:
New submissions pause first
As the available budget gets low, the campaign stops accepting new clips. Clips already in flight keep going.
Then approvals pause
If it falls further, approving clips is paused too and already-approved clips are held, so the budget can’t go negative. Existing clips are locked until you add money.
Top up to resume
A top-up lifts both pauses and the campaign picks up where it left off. You can also pause or unpause the campaign yourself at any time.
Wind a campaign down and get leftover budget back
To stop, withdraw whatever budget is left. The refund goes back to the cards of your original top-up payments, newest first, minus a withdrawal fee, and there’s a minimum withdrawal amount. Only one withdrawal can be in flight at a time, and you can only pull out what’s genuinely available — money locked against approved clips or still refundable on the original payment bounds how much comes back.
